Norbertine Brothers

Br Kenneth with Mrs De Luca's class

Year 11 Religion and Life

During Week 9 the Year 11 ATAR Religion and Life students in Mrs De Luca’s class had the opportunity to interview the wonderful Norbertine brothers in our St Norbert College community. The students have been learning about the role that religion plays in influencing and shaping a person to find their meaning and purpose.  Students reflected on the inspiring experience and enjoyed learning about why the Brothers chose to join the Norbertines. A special thank you to Brother Stephen, Brother Kenneth and Brother John for giving up their time to visit our students.

"Interviewing the brothers was such an intriguing and valuable experience. I've always seen them around helping out in the College, but never had the chance to talk to them nor get to know them. After this experience I was able to realise how inspirational and central the brothers are to our College. The stories of their religious calling were unique to their own, having experienced many challenges and achievements."

Jennifer Lewis (Year 11 - X6)

“Our Year 11 ATAR Religion class had the amazing opportunity to interview the College’s three Norbertine brothers - Brother Stephen, Brother Kenneth and Brother John. It was undoubtedly an eye-opening experience as the class learned the personal stories of the brothers’ faith and their path to becoming a Norbertine. Having experienced such an interesting opportunity, I urge fellow students to learn more about the rich backgrounds of our very own Norbertine brothers”.
