2020 MATHS CHALLENGE

 

The College entered 17 students in this year’s Maths Challenge. Maths Challenge is one program of Math Young Australians. It is designed to motivate and stimulate mathematically interested students. It caters to a wide range of abilities – from challenges that introduce problem-solving concepts through to enrichment studies.

Maths Challenge is a fun problem-solving program for students in Years 7-10, designed to extend their mathematical skills. Interesting problems are presented in a staged approach meant to encourage critical thinking. It was taken individually or as a small group. It ran over four weeks starting towards the end of Term 1 and finished on week 2 of Term 2.

Jhaanavi Karunapalan – Year 9 - Credit
