COVID-19 Public Health Update

Yesterday, Queensland Health released a public health update following the announcement of three new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Queensland.

Parents are asked to read these public health updates, particularly noting the locations listed on the alert and the updated COVID-19 hotspot rules and implications of travel into New South Wales.

These health updates are accessible via the Queensland Health website: https://www.health.qld.gov.au/news-events/doh-media-releases/releases/public-health-alert-three-new-covid-19-cases and https://www.qld.gov.au/health/conditions/health-alerts/coronavirus-covid-19/current-status/hotspots-covid-19

Contact tracing is underway on all cases and, as per Queensland Health requirements, anyone who was present at any of the locations during relevant times is directed to immediately self-quarantine and contact 13 HEALTH.

Queensland Health reminds everyone to continue to be extra vigilant about health and hygiene.

As per previous notices, if your child is experiencing any symptoms of novel coronavirus, we ask that you please keep her at home and seek medical advice.
