VOCABULARY

Main Idea: The most important, or central thought of a paragraph or larger text, which tells the reader what the text is about. 

Multiple:  A number or many of something. 

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Read a text with your child and ask them to identify the main ideas within the text. Get them to justify with evidence from the text.
