We have had a wonderful week in boarding with NAIDOC Week celebrations, Academic Awards Assembly, and the Interhouse Athletics Carnival.
Congratulations to our boarders who received academic awards at Tuesday’s Academic Awards Assembly for Semester 1:
- Alynah Henriksen, Rylee Scott and Mary Sproat (Year 7)
- Layla Collins, Shelley Easton, Talie’e Hampton, Jordyn Scott, Sally Sproat, Reese Taylor and Sherry Yang (Year 9)Sophie Carmichael, Kayden Fields and Reese Orcher (Year 10)
- Kiki Bell, Roxy Bohn, Scarlett Fok, Sonia Ngai and Mani Yung (Year 11)
- Abi Carr and Kaitlyn Ng (Year 12).
This Friday, I will depart with the Year 9 and 10 students who are participating in the Cambridge Scholars’ Program in the UK. We will return on Tuesday 8 August.
Other marketing trips this term include a visit to Northern New South Wales from 21 to 24 August, and Central Queensland, including our attendance at Westech in Barcaldine, Emerald and Longreach from 4 to 9 September.
