Respectful Relationships Education

In Week 3, students in Year 7 and 8 will engage in workshops on puberty and respectful relationships by True Relationships. For Year 7 students, The Puberty Refresher is designed to consolidate earlier learning on physical, social and emotional changes of puberty. The Year 8 program supports the development of respectful relationships by identifying healthy and unhealthy relationships and learning negotiating skills. This lesson is designed to equip young people with the skills not only for partner relationships but skills that could be used in all relationships that they encounter.

The Queensland Government Department of Education has developed resources for parents and families to explore at home. The resources are accessible here and provide information and support for a range of areas.

Clayfield vs BBC Senior Netball Game

On Friday 28 July, our Year 12 students will play a friendly game of netball against 30 BBC prefects. The game will be followed by a BBQ sausage sizzle in the Tennis Pavilion. This will be a great opportunity for our Seniors to socialise with BBC students as they embark upon the last stretch of their Secondary schooling.

Faith Week

To celebrate our faith life at Clayfield College, there will be a range of events and activities organised by the Chapel Captains in Week 3. These include:

  • Celebration Cake
