Good Vibes Disco!
It’s time for the children to dust off their dancing shoes and get ready to boogie at the EHPS 'Good Vibes' Disco! The Parents and Friends Club (PFC) invites all EHPS students to dance the night away next Friday, 11 August in the School Hall:
- Prep to Year 2 from 5.30pm to 6.30pm (sign in from 5pm); and
- Year 3 to Year 6 from 7.00pm to 8.00pm (sign in from 6.40pm).
A DJ from Kids Disco Parties will be playing favourite songs and there will be prizes!
Tickets are $8 per student and must be booked online via Trybooking by Wednesday 9 August to gain entry into the Disco.
Buy your ticket by 11.59pm on Sunday (6 August) and you will be in the running to win one of six Silvers Circus Family Passes! Winners announced at the School Assembly on Tuesday (no Assembly on Monday).
This event is for EHPS students only. Please note that by purchasing a ticket to the Disco, you consent that your child may be photographed at this event. Photos may be be shared on School social media and in the Contact newsletter. Please contact a member of the PFC if you have any concerns with this.
Each child must be signed in and signed out by their parent/guardian. Parents are not permitted to stay onsite in the School Hall or in the school grounds during the Disco unless they are signed up as a volunteer.
We are seeking the assistance of parent volunteers for various roles to help the Disco run smoothly. As parents are unable to wait on school grounds or in the School Hall during the Disco, the best way to take a sneak peek of the dance moves is to volunteer to help. You are required to have a Working with Children Check (WWCC) to volunteer; if you do not have one, it's free and simple to apply for a volunteer WWCC - click here to apply for a WWCC. Provide the School Office with a copy of the email confirming you have successfully applied for a WWCC or present your card when received in the post to be copied for the school register.

Secondhand Uniform
Our Term 3 Secondhand Stall held today was a great success - we have raised $1119 for our school! Thank to all the families who donated their no longer required good quality, clean uniform for this school fundraising initiative - it is greatly appreciated.
We couldn't run successful donation days and stalls without a fantastic team. Thanks to Alison, Nadeeka, Naheed, Sam, Kelly, and Siew for your invaluable assistance today.
The next donation day will be held in Term 4 on Friday 13th October.
The Term 4 Secondhand Uniform Stall will be on Friday 27th October.

The latest PFC Meeting was held onWednesday 26 July. It was lovely to see a few new faces - welcome! Included in our discussion were upcoming PFC events – the Disco, Father's Day Treat & Stall, Hot Dog Lunch on Footy Colours Day, and the Carnival!
