Science Talent Search

The Science Talent Search (STS) is an annual, school-based science competition open to all primary and secondary students in Victoria. The theme for 2023 is ‘Innovations: Powering Future Industries’. 

The STS Judging Day is TOMORROW, Saturday 5 August, from 9am to 10.30am. Students must bring their project to Judging Day. Students must bring their own laptop if this is required to present their project. Students are required to discuss their entry with STS judges. 

• Posters – Scientific Wallcharts, Computer Programs (must bring your own laptop or device), Class Projects, will be judged at Methodist Ladies’ College, Kew (Fitzwilliam Street entrance). 
• Video Productions (video entrants must bring their own laptop or device for their presentation), Science Photography, Working Models, and Inventions will be judged at Parade College in Bundoora.
• All other projects will be judged online.
