Year 12 Indonesian

with Ita Rose

On the 4th of August, the year 12 students embarked on an exciting journey to Melbourne for the Indonesian Language UN Model conference. This year's focus was on "Sustainable Cities and Communities Towards a Resilient Future." Representing Germany, our school proudly sent a dedicated team consisting of Kai Docherty, Taylah Gardiner, Nicholas George, and Elizabeth Rose.

Unlike a competition, the conference aimed to encourage meaningful exchanges of ideas among the participants. This unique experience significantly contributed to the development of our students' confidence in speaking the Indonesian language.

Science Week

Next week is National Science Week and we will be running some competitions and fun activities at school to celebrate all things science.  There are online activities running to celebrate Science Week.

Take a look at the following: Bird, bat or possum? Think you know your Aussie fauna? Prove it with this quiz on animal calls

A warbling melody or a terrifying, grunting growl?

Australian native animals make a huge range of calls to mark territory, find a mate or just express their joy at being together.

No matter where you live in Australia, you'll be able to hear our native fauna nearby.

But how good are you at recognising them?

Take our quiz to find out if your knowledge is worth crowing about!

And don't forget to vote for your favourite animal sound in our poll.
