Rainbow Run ...
The RHPS 2021 Rainbow Run IS GOING AHEAD on Friday 26th March.
Unfortunately, the Covid restrictions did not ease as much as we would have liked and the Welcome BBQ can not take place. However, plan b is to still have a small afternoon tea stall for the children, details below.
The Run:
- The Rainbow Run will be kicking off at 2:30pm.
- The preps and grade 1’s will be guided by the buddies.
- Parents are allowed to come and watch as long as strict physical distancing is adhered to. Keep in mind that the oval might be quite wet from all the rain lately.
Remember to pack these things in a bag Friday morning:
- Children can wear their Rainbow Run clothes to school that day, or they can bring a change of clothes along to school. We suggest a white tee shirt that can be ruined.
- Children not participating can just stay in school uniform.
- Sunglasses or goggles to protect little eyes
- Gumboots or old shoes might be a good option too as the oval will be wet!
- It’s a good idea to pack an old towel for the car trip home!
- Bring along a few dollars to purchase some afternoon tea. Alternatively, parents can just bring some money along for the children to purchase something after the run.
Afternoon tea:
- If your child would like to buy something, please only send a small amount of money ($2-3 max).
- Ensure it is in a SEALED and NAMED envelope / zip lock bag / purse so it doesn’t get lost!
- The stall will also stay open for a little while at 3.30pm if any families or siblings would like to purchase afternoon tea on their way home.
AFTERNOON TEA MENU:
Cookies – $1
Cinnamon donuts – $1
Zooper Dooper – 50c
Icy Pole – 50c
Juice boxes - $1
Water - $1
All while stocks last.
Note:
Children can not do the Rainbow Run in their school uniform. They must be in white/old clothes to be able to participate.
There are no actual"tickets" this year, we just have a list :)
Volunteers:
Thank you to all our amazing volunteers.
If you have signed up to help set up, please arrive at 12.30pm.
If you have signed up to help throw colour, please arrive to school at 2.15pm to be assigned a colour station! It’s a great idea to wear old clothes, gloves and perhaps gumboots so your clothes and shoes don’t get ruined!
Ladies Night...
Ladies night is going ahead! If you purchased a ticket, confirmation notes have been sent home with children. If you would still like to come you can still get your order form in. Now that the event is definitely going ahead, we will accept $10 cash on the night for any other ladies that would like to come along. Super excited!
Hot Cross Buns...
Hot Cross Bun orders have now closed. The hot cross buns will go home with Tuesday 30th March or Wednesday 31st March. We will advise once we've confirmed with Baker's Delight.
TERM 3 Trivia Night....
This is our Term 3 major fundraiser. The P&F team have been working REALLY HARD to collect lots of AMAZING donation for a Silent Auction and Raffle. We would love, love, love lots of community support for this event. Begin to hassle your friends now!
