Sporting Grants
The following two programs are available to eligible families to help cover costs associated with organised sporting activities i.e. membership, registration fees, uniforms and equipment. Please see below links with full information and how to apply.
The Sporting Chance Program will open on Friday 19th March 2021 and close on Friday 9th April 2021.
Who is eligible?
To be eligible applicants must be:
- A resident of Greater Shepparton, although their sporting activity may be outside the municipality
- In possession of a valid Health Care Card
- Aged 18 years or under

The Sporting Chance Program (getmoovingshepparton.com.au)
Vouchers are available for eligible families and activities. You can apply for up to two vouchers for each eligible child from 1st March 2021 to 17th April 2022.
To be eligible for a voucher your child/dependant must be:
- aged 4 to 18 years
- a resident in Victoria
- named on a current (at the time of your application) Australian Government Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, and
- named on a valid Australian Government Medicare card.
- You can apply for more than one voucher if you have multiple eligible children/dependants.
- You must apply separately for each child/dependant.
- If you don’t have an Australian Government Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card you may still be eligible for special consideration.
