Thank You

Thank you for the generous donation of $340.00 to our school.  Beanies, hats and crocheted blankets made by a group of women who would like to remain anonymous were sold at a recent Music Festival.  The proceeds of the sales have been donated to 3 local schools. The Hackham East Primary School community appreciate your generosity . 

Harmony Day/Bullying No Way Fundraiser

Thank you to the students, staff and parents who supported Harmony Day/Bullying No Way on Friday 19/3.  A total of $180.00 was raised and the money has been donated to the charity Kids Helpline.

Lost Property

Please check the Lost Property boxes located in each teaching unit for any item that your child may have lost during the term.  It is recommended that all items brought to school by your child are clearly named so that they can be returned if found.

School Watch

Can neighbours and community members please watch the school carefully for any sign of trespassers, vandals or anyone acting suspiciously in or around the school grounds during the holidays.

NAPLAN 2021

NAPLAN is fast approaching for our Yr 3, 5 and 7 students.  NAPLAN will be held nationally from Tuesday 11/5 until Friday 21/5  Please see the attachment for information regarding the collection of personal information.  Please see Mr Scott Megson, Deputy Principal with any questions regarding NAPLAN.

HEPS - OSHC Vacation Care

Hackham East Primary School OSHC is open from 12/4 to 23/4/2021.  All Vacation Care fees have CCS approval, (before subsidy) Inhouse $60.00, Incursion $68.00 and Excursion $75.00. Children are provided with sunscreen, hat and afternoon tea.  Additionally, please ensure that you read what is required to be sent with your child/children on each particular day.  Please also note that on excursion days the children will need to be at the service by the time stated on the program, we will unfortunately be unable to wait for anyone who has not arrived on time. Our hours of operation are 7:00am to 6:00pm, children must be collected on time.

Parent Information Evening - Aberfoyle Park High School

We are welcoming Yr 7 students to our school in 2022.  We are inviting prospective families to attend the Yr 7 2022 Parent Information Evening on Wednesday 5/5 commencing at 6:30pm at Aberfoyle Park High School.  The evening will be held in our new Middle School Hub.

Forms have been sent home to all families with information that we have on file regarding your child/children.  

Please check that the information is correct eg address, contact numbers, medical conditions etc to ensure the information we have is accurate.

Please amend information where necessary and return to Lee Clements in the Front Office.

School Banking

In 2021 School Banking with The Commonwealth Bank will be continuing. If you would like your child to take part in School Banking, they will need a Youthsaver account. Designed for anyone U18yrs.  There are three ways to open a Youthsaver account:

  1. Apply online at commbank.com.au/schoolbanking
  2. Log on to your CommBank app (if you bank with CommBank)
  3. Visit any CommBank branch

School banking is every Thursday.

School Card 2021

All types of School Card applications are now online.  You can access online forms from any device that gets internet, including mobile devices, such as tablets and smart phones, as well as laptops and computers.  To apply online follow the steps below.

Step 1  Visit sa.gov.au/education/schoolcard

Step 2   Select the type of School Card you

              would like to apply for (eg Type A)

              and follow the prompts.

Step 3  Complete all mandatory fields

Step 4  Once you have completed a page click

             on the "NEXT" button.

Step 5  Once you have filled out all pages click

             the "SUBMIT" button.
