The library wants to give you access to books that you want to read so please feel free to drop in and request your favourites. Remember that books can take a while to arrive; sometimes they have to come from overseas....lucky for us they get here eventually. (Currently, we are waiting on 6 of these, hurry up!).

Booktok?

Stuck for suggestions? try looking at booktok on TikTok and see what others are reading.

Young people use Booktok to provide recommendations and explore reader experience and emotional response. I often upload booktok to the @ksclibrary instragram stories, check it out!

You know when a genre of music turns into books they're onto something. K-pop has been around since the early 1990's. Which means there a few decades of juicy stories floating around that will entertain everyone, even those who aren't fans. Industry secrets, fandom, no dating rules, beauty standards and more make these books a fascinating read.
