Athletics Carnival
A reminder that the Koonung Athletics Carnival will be held on Friday 14th May at Hagenauer Reserve in Box Hill. Students are to come to school at normal time and go to their period 1 class for roll marking. They will then walk with their teacher to the venue. The event will end at approx. 2.30pm and students will be dismissed from the venue. Staff will be available to supervise students walking back to school. Students should be wearing their Koonung Sports Uniform with a coloured tee shirt of their house. Costumes are permitted for those entering the best dressed competition. This is not a free dress day.
Reminders for Interschool Sport
- Check Compass regularly for information about team sign-ups.
- Please ensure payment and consent is provided by the due date (at least 3 days prior to the event, otherwise it will result in the student being unable to attend the event)
- If students decide to pull out of the event before the day, they MUST let either the teacher coaching the team OR Miss Prosenak know ASAP so that we can find another student as a replacement. If not, the team may not have enough players and be unable to go. Simply leaving your payment/consent unattended on Compass is not enough. This helps us to plan or amend bus bookings, staffing and costs for the day.
