Grade 3-6

Melbourne CBD Walking Tour

As this term comes to a close we would like to thank everyone for all of their support in giving the 3-6 students the best opportunities to learn and participate in a variety of activities.  We loved our historical tours of Melbourne and would like to thank the volunteers who helped make that day a possibility – it was a terrific day exploring our capital city, and the students gain valuable historical knowledge to share back at school.

Summer Interschool Sports

Our interschool sports for summer has come to a close and we would like to thank everyone who came to watch and cheer on our students and assist with practise at home.  Our cricket team played in a grand final last week, and we know they enjoyed a very close game.  Winter sports will be arriving soon, and we can’t wait to warm up on the cooler days with some sport and exercise!  If you have not yet returned the interschool sports uniform, could you please return them before the end of this term!

Night of the Notables

The grade 5’s and 6’s are looking forward to presenting their Night of the Notables inquiry investigation next term (we are in the early stages now), and we will ask that you assist by sourcing a large piece of solid cardboard (TV box, refrigerator packaging, etc.) over the holiday period so they can create their presentation board.  Last time we were able to use the old election voting booths, but this year we not running quite so well in sync with the elections!  Please see the upcoming note for guidance.

Have a safe and happy holidays from the 3-6 staff, we are looking forward to seeing you all in Term 2.
