Biz - E - Kidz

The Seniors Aftercare sessions have moved to the FLEX

As of Monday 26/4 Biz-E-Kidz permanently re-opened our Seniors Program for grades 3 - 6 in the Flex.

This was in operation before our enrolment numbers dropped last year due to the pandemic. Now that our enrolment numbers are rising back to our pre-pandemic levels, we are opening our Seniors program. This is a specialised program delivered to children in Year 3-6 with its own daily program plan (with focussed, themed activities), more age-specific Biz-E-Kidz equipment (craft items, sports equipment, board, and card games) and is operated from the school's Flex building, using the outdoors space around the Flex too.

The Flex is a flexible learning space that is classrooms during school hours. Senior Biz-E-Kidz will go directly to the Flex at 3:30 on their Biz-E-Kidz days, line up to sign in, have a snack, as usual, participate in the daily 4 pm meeting and then choose the activities they'd like to join. This is the same structure as they're used to at Biz-E-Kidz.

If your Senior child has a younger sibling at Biz-E-Kidz that they would like to visit, they will be given the option after the 4 pm meeting to take their school bag up to the main Biz-E-Kidz building and stay up there for the afternoon until they are collected.

To collect your child from Monday onwards, you will need to come to the Flex, which is next to the playground on the Southside of the school. This is via the school gate closest to the corner of Harcourt and Courtney Streets.

Please call us on 0400 838 448 if you have any trouble finding us on the day, or ask for help at the main Biz-E-Kidz building. Please don't hesitate to get in touch regarding this change and we encourage you to discuss this change with your child so they feel ready for being part of Senior Biz-E-Kidz.

Direct Debit starting on 14th May

From 11th of May onwards, Biz - E  Kidz will email statements fortnightly on Tuesdays and conduct a direct debit run on the following Friday. Families should note that although will not be charging any fees for direct debit, failed payments will incur a fee of $9.00 excl GST

Please contact us if you have any questions

Child Care Subsidy Balancing deadlines

Families need to confirm their income for the 2018/2019 financial year and the 2019/2020 financial year by the 30th of June 2021 or risk losing their child care subsidy. This can be done by submitting a tax return to the ATO or informing Services Australia that they do not need to lodge a tax return. Families should note that if they do not have their 2018/2019 financial year return lodged by the 30th of June, they will need to pay back any subsidy they have received.
