Celebrating all that is Good with Joy and Gratitude

It was wonderful to be able to celebrate with a group of Year 9 students this week with the success of their entry in the ‘Write a Book in a Day’ competition. Congratulations to our budding authors Sophie Hollier, Kiara McGaw, Caitlyn Singleton, Emily Smith, Gabrielle Smyth and Ella Taylor (Team 'Scribble Works'). Their book, 'How Not to Accept Your Dad’s Relationship' has a great plot, is very funny and is beautifully illustrated. It’s a wonderful achievement for the students to win the ‘Best Book – Middle School’ category for Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania and is a celebration of their collective talent and efforts. This book will be distributed to children in hospitals via The Kids' Cancer Project and we know they will enjoy it as much as we did!

VCAA Examinations

The VCAA examinations have almost finished with just a few examinations to go. Students are reminded upon arrival to enter through Gate 2 and sign in at Student Reception. This is important for attendance records.

Year 9 to 11 End of Year Examinations

Year 10 and 11 examinations start on Friday 12 November and Year 9 examinations commence next week on Thursday 18 November, with regular Year 9 classes timetabled until the commencement of their examinations.

A reminder that there is no Homeroom period conducted on the days of scheduled examinations. Students are only required to attend school on the days that they have examinations scheduled. It is recommended that students arrive a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes before the start time of their first examination for the day and make their way to the allocated examination venue. Students are only permitted to leave the College after their last examination for the day. A reminder for parents to give permission on PAM for students to leave the College early after their last examination for the day.
