Demand For ‘Soft Skills’ In Future Workplaces

The next ten years will see a shake-up of the mix of skills required by the Australian workforce, with workers needing to deepen their existing skill sets, or acquire new ones. Soft skills are becoming more important than ever.

AFL Sportsready Trainee Opportunity At Kilbreda – Year 12 Students 

 

Kilbreda College is in the process of finding an AFL trainee to work with the Sports Department for 2022. This is a paid position and also involves some study in completing a TAFE certificate. A Traineeship is a work placement where you get paid to work and study at the same time. They can be:

  • Full time (10-12 months)  
  • Part time (12-24 months)  
  • School Based - ASBA (12-24 months)

Traineeships provide you with:

  • Valuable On-the-Job/Practical  experience 
  • Nationally Accredited training at TAFE (e.g. Certificate III or IV Qualification)
  • Possibility of ongoing employment or entry to university
  • Great referees/references and contacts for your future
