It was a wonderful night at the school concert this week and an honour to have Aboriginal dance group ‘Of Desert and Sea’ to open the night after Nash opened the assembly with an Acknowledgement of Country. We also launched the West Beach Primary School Reconciliation Action Plan. If you would like a copy, please come and grab one from the front office. We would also like some new recruits for our Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group so if you are interested, please see me at the front office. We meet once a term in the evening and discuss how we can incorporate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture into the school. It is a casual and friendly group and we would love to see some new faces.
