Languages
This term Year 7 French classes have been exploring the Francophone world to discover the reasons why so many countries around the world speak French. During the learning from home period some awesome postcards were written from their chosen Francophone country. They are now busy working on their own creative projects to explore their Francophone country further. As I look back on the year, I am very proud of how much they have all learnt but especially proud of them all for stepping outside their comfort zone to gain the skills and knowledge required to learn a foreign language.
Wuwing Art Portraits
Students in Wuwing have been busy creating some amazing artworks in their Visual Arts lessons. They have used a portrait of themselves as inspiration using clip art images. They were keen to experiment with collage and mixed media techniques where they painted and glued fabric and various textured patterns paper to their work. They are now proudly displayed in their classroom.
