Senior School Curriculum Planning: VCE and VCAL pathways 2022
This term, teams of teachers from across the College have started planning the curriculum for our VCE and VCAL subjects being delivered in 2022. They have been focusing on developing teaching and learning sequences that are engaging, hands on and tap into student voice and agency whilst also meeting the requirements of Senior School. Students will begin their Senior School journey during the two day Step Up program in early December. They will work within their new classes on tasks that will be key to making a successful start next year.
Tip: Students will be receiving tasks to complete over the Summer holidays to set them up for a successful start in Senior School next year. To assist, we encourage students to set up a dedicated study area at home to ensure they stay motivated and focused!We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach to curriculum planning here at ECSC and we feel privileged and excited that we can continue to develop curriculum that builds on students interests and passions as they move through secondary school.

To help students stay focused and motivated, teachers have put together a graphic that clearly outlines what students will be learning for the remainder of the term. This an effective visual representation of learning at each level and something that we will continue doing in 2022.
