Enrolments - Year 7 2022

In the next coming weeks, please keep an eye out on the key important dates below if you have a child starting in Year 7 at Edgars Creek Secondary College in 2022.

Year 7 Parent Information Night  

November 30th 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm

Please click on the link here to register. There are two sessions available, both sessions will be the same, please only select one session to attend, tickets are limited to three per family. Due to COVID restrictions and capacity limitations, all attendees must show proof of double vaccination before entering, only parents and the student transitioning to high school are able to attend, no younger students children are allowed.

Statewide Orientation Day 

Tuesday December 7th 8:30 am – 3:10 pm

More information about this will be communicated at the Information Night and via Compass. Year 6 students will experience a day in the life as a high school student, taking part in a variery of classes following a timetable and meeting some of the teachers they will have in 2022.

Exiting Students 

If your child is exiting and moving to another school, state or overseas, please ensure you contact the college as soon as possible. It is important that the college collects all required details. Please also click on the link here to complete an exit form.

Extended Holidays 

If your child is going on extended absence for more than 7 days, please ensure you contact the college as soon as possible. It is important that the college collects all required details. Please also click on the link here to complete an extended absence form.

First Aid 

It is really important that we have medications stored in first aid for those students requiring it. With Increased risks Hayfever, asthma and thunderstorm asthma we must have medical plans and medication authority forms. If your child take antihistamines, Ventolin or even on occasion Panadol please complete the attached form and provide the medication to the front office.

Cancelled Events 

Unfortunately, due to COVID19 restrictions a number of events have been cancelled. We will be communicating with families throughout the term regarding refunding families who have paid for these events. If you have any concerns or questions please do not hesitate to contact our friendly office staff who will be happy to talk to you about this. 

Year 10 Formal event is not cancelled but has been reschedules for next year, all families will receive communication around this shortly.
