Year 5/6 GS Shooters
Wow GS Shooters...you really can play great basketball! What an outstanding job they did in the Grand Final against King's Baptist who only had one more win than us this season. It was competitive right from the start, relentless throughout and still a contest in the final seconds. At times we were ahead by 10 points and then so were the opposition. Our boys challenged themselves like never before and we couldn't be more proud.
A terrific finish to the season, with the majority of our team heading off to secondary school next year. It was an honourable loss, 38 to 35. Winners in our eyes for best sportsmanship, commitment to the game and each other, and for the impressive skills they have individually developed over their years at Good Shepherd.
Thank you to the families for your ongoing loyalty and support and best wishes to you and the team for the future.
