Following on from the news last week that Year 10 students Henry Bensch and Jack Austin were selected as part of the Under 16 Western Waves squad, we have also been informed that Matilda and Grace Potter have made the Female Waves Under 15 team that will also participate against the best female players in the state in that age group during the upcoming summer series. All the best to the boys and girls.

Basketball News

Please note that there is still no news from the HBA in regards to the vaccination policy or in regards to the start of season date. It is hopeful that both juniors and seniors will resume next week but this is still to be confirmed. I will pass on any further information to coaches and team managers and other information forums used for basketball as they come to hand. Trainings can now resume in the sports centre and coaches/Team Managers should have been in touch with their players to work out and communicate their training times.

We are pleased to be back playing in the junior netball comp commencing this Saturday 6th November.  Please see the draw at the bottom for the relevant team/s start time, court number  We play at HILAC this season.  

All players, coaches, team managers, umpires and parents are to enter via the main entrance at HILAC , check-in via the HILAC QR code and proceed directly to the teams designated court.  Players are requested to arrive ready to play.  To ensure safety to all, no spectators are allowed and where possible, only one parent/guardian per player.  Once the game is finished,  we request all to exit the facility promptly allowing for the next teams to enter. 

The MyNetball link to pay registration fees is now open for all players and umpires. All Money is payable online for the Hamilton Netball Association via the website www.mynetball.com.au or via the MyNetball App on your smartphone (App Store or Google Play).

Cost:

Juniors: Born between 01/01/2004 and 31/12/2010 (11 – 17 years) & Born on or after 01/01/2011 to 31/12/2013 (8-10 years)

Victoria Netball Association (VNA): $58 (unless already paid in Term 1 or with another Club)

HNA GAME FEES: $25

TOTAL: $83 or $25 if VNA is already paid (HNA fees have been waived)

VNA only needs to be paid once for 2021, if paid in Term 1 or with another club, you still need to register online for HNA Term 4 season (the VNA will be automatically removed online if already paid with another club)
