Procession of Lanterns

The Year 12 Class of 2021 became the 115th group to participate in the well-loved and time honoured tradition of the Procession of Lanterns.

It is an extraordinarily moving farewell ritual, which marks a rite of passage in the lives of our Year 12 students as they commence their journey beyond Sacré Cœur. It has always been a beautiful ceremony with the altar in the chapel decorated for the occasion with many candles in the shape of a heart.
