Chess club

New chess clocks putting us through our paces

We’re all very excited to return to school and of course, chess club. Our Year 11 students are actively enjoying a little break between their exams after a very hard semester, being mostly online. After acquiring one of the Thrive Innovate grants earlier this year for some chess clocks, we are now able to mimic the time pressure you’d experience at competitions (which we hopefully can resume later this year or next year.) Of course, if you’re ever interested in playing some chess at school, we’re located in the upstairs B-block in the B12 classroom (directly in front of you after you enter the double doors) at lunchtime on Wednesdays. Come check us out!
