Celebrating Year 12 Media

Over the course of this year, the Media Team developed, planned and produced a series of narratives across multiple media forms. We produced short films, animations, photographic series, podcasts and made zines/magazines, all over the course of rolling lockdowns! A challenge, to be sure, but one the students rose admirably to. 

In particular we congratulate Hanna Layclark and Ringo Bach whose works have even been selected for festivals including the Melbourne Women in Film Festival, Melbourne Lift-Off and North Bellarine Film Festival locally, as well as a finalist in the Paris International Film awards, 18 Under 18 Vietnam, Short To The Point Fest in Romania and won a Best High School Screenplay at the Gil International Screenwriting awards internationally.

See here some photos of work produced as well as some behind the scenes shots of work made. It was tough going, but incredibly fun to see what they were able to create in very challenging circumstances. As can be expected we are awfully proud of the efforts put in by all our students this year.
