Sharing expertise in Science teaching

We are thrilled to announce that two of our teachers, Katie Turner and Lorena Pellone-Gismondi have been selected for the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership’s Teaching Excellence Program. Admission into this prestigious program, involved an intensive application process that included the submission of a teaching portfolio and written references from students and peers. 

Katie and Lorena will be sharing their expertise in Science teaching across the education system through a series of Masterclasses and Teacher Excellence Learning Communities in 2022, all while still teaching our students here at NHS. We are very proud of their admission into this program and they look forward to being part of a network of science educators dedicated to sharing excellence in teaching and learning.
