HARMONY DAY

At Murrumbeena Primary School, we look forward to our annual Harmony Day celebrations. In order to fit in with other planned school events, we will be celebrating Harmony Day on Wednesday 22 March

The school community (students, parents and teachers) is encouraged to wear traditional clothing from their first country or orange, the official colour of Harmony Day.

We will start the day with a parade of our traditional and colourful clothing which families are welcome to attend.

During the day, students will participate in a range of cultural activities including, stories, dancing, craft and games in mixed groupings with teachers across their levels.

Students have the option of purchasing a special lunch for the day through the canteen, Sue will have already sent out details for this on QKR.

We look forward to an exciting day filled with smiles, laughter and a sense of belonging.
