Jazz Classes at Girton!

We are exploring the possibility of offering Jazz Dance Classes this year at Girton Grammar School for students in Years 4-6, Years 7-9, and Years 10-12.

The weekly classes would provide students with the opportunity to learn basic choreography and movement to music in a fun and informal environment with the bonus of fitness and friendship. The class would also benefit students who would like to audition for School Productions.

Classes would be once per week and conducted by Ms Kaddi Kearin, who is a professional dance instructor and the choreographer of Girton Middle and Senior School productions. 

In Junior School, dance classes for Years 4-6  would be held in the John E. Higgs Hall  on Wednesday mornings at 7.30am – 8:15am. 

In Senior School, classes are proposed to be after school on Tuesdays:

3:45pm – 4:30pm (Years 7 – 9) 

4:30pm – 5:15pm (Years 10-12)

The cost of classes would be $15.00 per 45 minute class, with payment to be made directly to Kaddi, who is a private provider.
