Thank you to Jo Lawrence for her wonderful support of the p&f in this role over the past few years. This position is now available - either as a singular or shared role. Please let us know if you are interested either by leaving your name and number at the school office or by letting Clare know.
Toast
Toast is available each morning between 8:30am-8:50am prior to the commencement of the school day for those students who would like a piece before they begin their learning.
Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who enable this to happen! If you would like to volunteer, please let Clare, Jo or Krystal in the office know!
Friday Sushi Lunch Orders-Lunch Box Sushi Castlemaine
Sushi is available to be ordered for school lunch each Friday. Orders need to be placed and paid for online via the school lunch online website prior to 5pm each Thursday.
Second Hand School Uniforms
Second hand school uniforms are available at school if you are in need of any items. If you have any good quality second hand items that you are happy to donate, please bring them along to the school office. Thank you!
Term 1 Student Special Lunch & Casual Clothes Day
On Thursday 6th of April there will be a sausage sizzle lunch available to students provided by the p&f. If your child/ren would not like a sausage for lunch, please send along a packed lunch as usual.
This will be an extra fun day to finish off the first term for the students with the option to wear casual clothes plus the drawing of the Easter raffle!
Easter Raffle
Our traditional annual Easter raffle will take place at the end of this term. This is one of our great fundraisers for the year!We are seeking donations of Easter themed items, both edible and non-edible to be made into prizes for our raffle.
There is a box located in the school foyer at the office for these. There will be major prizes drawn along with lots of smaller prizes on the final day of school-Thursday 6th April.
Tickets have been sent home. There are more available at the school office. Could you please return all tickets by Friday 31st March to be in the draw!
The p&f will be preparing the prizes on Tuesday 4th April in the school library at 9am after school drop off. If you are free and would like to assist, please come along!

St Vinnies Easter Appeal
In recent years, our St Mary’s community started a wonderful initiative-donating Easter themed non-edible items to those in need within our local community. These are collected and then distributed by St Vinnies volunteers. If you are able to, we are again seeking donations for this appeal this year. Some ideas include, books, art and craft items, stationary, lunch boxes and drink bottles, mugs, toothbrushes, toys. There is a box located in the school foyer at the office for receipt of these. Thank you!
Bulb Fundraiser
Bulb catalogues have been sent home. This is an optional fundraiser. If you would like to place an order, these are completed online and your order will be delivered to your nominated address. 40% of sales will go to our school.

St Mary’s BBQ & Cake Stall Fundraiser-Castlemaine Newsagent
On Saturday 25th March between 7:30am and 1:30pm, the p&f will be running a bbq and cake stall outside the Castlemaine Newsagent on Mostyn Street.
We are seeking volunteers to work a shift on the stall as well as donations of cakes and slices to be sold. There is a roster located at the school office for you to add your name. Donations of cakes and slices can be dropped off to school on the Friday afternoon prior or directly to the stall on the Saturday morning. Paper plates & instructions will be sent home soon!
Your support will help raise funds which will allow us to fund new resources for our students!

St Mary’s 2023 Welcome BBQ-Thursday 16th March
Come along and join our wonderful school community from 5pm onwards for a bbq in the school grounds. All welcome! It will be a lovely opportunity to welcome new families to St Mary’s and gather together as a school community. See you there!
Class Parent/Carer Representative
