QGSSSA Swimming Championships
An air of excitement is building with only one week until the QGSSSA Swimming Championships. The team has prepared well, and there is a lot of positive energy moving forward into the final week.
The 2023 QGSSSA Swimming Championships are set to take place on Wednesday 1 March. The event promises to be a thrilling spectacle as swimmers from the ten QGSSSA schools come together to compete for the Aggregate - Mollie Gould Cup and the Percentage – The Sheena Dyason Cup wins.
All students in Years 6-12 are invited to bring their college spirit and spectate in support of the 2023 QGSSSA Swimming Team as they look to defend The Sheena Dyason Cup after winning the trophy in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Note: Students in Years 7-12 are expected to attend as spectators.
Date: Wednesday 1 March
Venue: Brisbane Aquatic Centre, Sleeman Sports Complex
Time: 3:15pm – 9:00pm
Bring: Food and a water bottle in a small bag (Kiosk facilities will be available)
Do not bring: Ipods or equivalent (you are attending to support the Swimming team)
Uniform: Summer uniform (including hats – boys and girls)

Swimming Team Breakfast
All swimmers and their families are invited to join us for a final team breakfast in celebration of the 2023 QGSSSA Swimming season.
When: Thursday 23 February
Time: 7:15am
Where: Tennis Pavilion
This is an important occasion which allows us to recognise the team’s preparation and gather as a community one last time before the championships. Food and drinks will be provided.
Friends of Sport are seeking Parent Volunteers to assist.

Age Groups: Boys in Years 2-7

- Warm-up 9.00am
- Competition 9.30am – 12.30pm
- Presentation Approximately 12.30pm
