Student Engagement

What a positive start to the year it has been! Hopefully families have read through the letters that were sent home outlining the ways that we are encouraging attendance, uniform, bringing of fruit and displaying our school values. We also sent home student behaviour agreements and still require a few more to be returned with parent and student signatures.

House Points

We have hit the ground running with awarding house points inside and outside the classroom which resulted in Lecky winning the first week prize. The prize was ‘extra eating time’ meaning that Lecky students were able to eat parts of their snack or lunch at any points in the day. In the second week, we saw the Lecky house go back to back and be victorious and they were awarded with an outdoor game. You wouldn’t believe it but Lecky went back to back to back and triumphed in the third week! They enjoyed a chocolate treat as a prize.

In the fourth week, we had the closest margin ever and Hicks came out on top. They were rewarded with 15 minutes extra recess. Who will be the winners next!? 

‘Cool to be at school

’What an epic way to celebrate the students who attend school for 5 days in the week. Our first 4 winners for the year were Callum H, Jacob S, Mitchell H and Adele R. Well done legends- we are so thrilled that you’ve been rewarded for your top attendance!
