Principal's Message

It's hard to believe that we are already halfway through the term. Time seems to be flying by, and there's been a lot happening at our school.

Firstly, I want to congratulate the Bilbies on their fantastic assembly last week. It was a pleasure to see so many students performing with such enthusiasm and passion. Well done to all involved, especially to Miss Bonsey for organising the students for their item and presentations.

Next week marks the start of NAPLAN testing for Year 3 and 5 students. This year, the testing will be fully online. The results will help us identify areas where we need to improve our teaching and ensure that our students receive the best possible education. We wish all our students the best of luck with their tests.

We recently held our annual open night, which was a tremendous success. It was wonderful to see so many parents and students attend and take an active interest in the work our students are doing. I want to express my gratitude to all the staff who put in a huge effort to make the evening such a success. Your dedication and commitment to our students are truly appreciated. Thanks also to Lynda in the canteen for putting on a tasty sausage sizzle!

Sadly, we also have to bid farewell to one of our staff members, Mr Cutting. Mr Cutting has been with Marangaroo Primary School for ten years, and during that time, he has provided exceptional support to our students. He will be greatly missed, and we wish him all the best in his new role at Nollamara Primary School.

However, we are excited to announce that we will be welcoming a new Deputy Principal to our school. Mr Gulshan Price has extensive leadership experience and has previously worked in an SLP school for several years. We are very much looking forward to having him on board and are confident that he will make a significant contribution to our school community.

Finally, I want to thank all our parents and caregivers for their continued support and encouragement of our students and staff. We value your partnership and look forward to working together to provide the best possible education for our students.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
