Pedal Prix
We couldn't run this program without the generous support of a number of local businesses with their sponsorship so we say thank to the following:
Mt Compass IGA, Strathalbyn Mitre 10, Strathfield Motors, Roger Kiddell Plumbing, Strathalbyn Amcal Pharmacy, Maidments Meats, Strathalbyn Woolworths.
Please support these businesses where you can and don't forget to thank them for the part they played in our Pedal Prix team.

Please note in the diary section of each Newsletter the term dates throughout the year. Term 3, 2019 commences with 2 Pupil Free days with the new term commencing on Wednesday 24 July 2019.

Sciences Resources for the Students
Many thanks to all our families who are collecting the Earn & Learn stickers. Keep them coming in. You have until the last day of Term 2 to bring in all your filled or part-filled sheets, or just the stickers. Science resources for the Early Learning Centre, Primary and Secondary School will be purchased with the value that we receive from the stickers collected.
Congratulations to the Year 7 class who took on the challenge to fill 30 'Earn & Learn' sheets, earning themselves a Pizza lunch per kind favour of Mr Simons. Well done - and Thank You!
Social Media Policy
The use of social media has become common practice for almost all Australian society, including staff, students and parents of our schools. Advances in technology have meant that access to social media sites
has become almost instantaneous, much simpler and can be done anywhere. This is especially true with the advent of smartphones, iPads and other tablets, and light-weight, streamlined laptops that enable users constant and immediate access to the Internet.
The School recognises that many parents will use social media as a way of communicating with their friends, family and colleagues. The School has also decided to use social media to keep in contact with old
scholars and advise our school communities of up-coming events and news about the Schools.

Entertainment Book 2019/20
If you have not yet returned your Entertainment Book, it is now Overdue!
Please send back any unwanted books ASAP so we can return them to the company and avoid you being charged for a book you do not want to use.
Alternatively, please consider purchasing the book or digital version and enjoy the savings all year round. $14 from each purchase will also go towards the purchase of science resources, adding to the value that the Woolworths stickers have created.
Have a great week!
