Protein Balls

As part of the Catering Department's constant efforts to keep up to date with food trends, we thought we’d have a go at making protein balls. The Endeavour and Breaksea girls were particularly good rollers, especially Chelsea and Dannielle. I’m not sure what part of the traditional healthy diet they replace or enhance but, they are a bit of fun and something different.

This month we received quite a lot of Grammar-grown’ greens, with Mr Manson’s gardening students providing bok choy, kale, parsley, cauliflower and other veggies which we’ve incorporated into the boarding meals. These are embraced to a greater or lesser extent by the students. By the time they leave GSG, I’m sure they will, with our encouragement, all be eating plenty of good healthy veggies.
