Year 3 Mother's Day Card

Term Two has started well with Year 3s making a Mother’s Day card where each petal of a flower has a describing word written by students in Italian about their Mums. Words such as bella (beautiful), brava (good),  gentile (kind),  simpatico (nice) and intelligente (smart) were written by students and explained to their Mums on Mother’s Day. Eccelente!

Year Six Sondaggio

Year Six students have undertaken a survey (un sondaggio) in Italian about the student’s favourite school subjects and sports as well as the school subjects they found the most difficult.

The findings of the survey included that the favourite school subject (materia scholastica) was sports and the most difficult was English, Music and Italian. The favourite sports included basketball (pallacanestro) and soccer (calcio). Ben fatto ragazzi!
