Freeza Art Exhibition

D. Watson

The Freeza Art Exhibition opens at the Mildura Visitor Information Centre, Deakin Avenue, Mildura on Wednesday 21 August at 5.30pm.

It is open to everyone, so go along and have a look at the fantastic Art from our school and other schools in the district.  Good luck to students from our school who have entered their work.

Mildura Senior College (MSC) Course Selection Forms

C. Blackie

We would like to thank students and families for ensuring that nearly all MSC Course Selection Forms have now been returned. A small number of students have still not returned their completed and signed forms. If forms are not returned this week, students will not be able to enter their subjects when MSC staff visit us next Monday. This may put students at risk of not receiving their preferred courses. At this point it is critical that students make at least an interim decision about their courses, even if they then make changes later in the year.

Doctors in Secondary Schools

Remember our doctor’s room is open every Tuesday from 10am–3pm for secondary students.  Student appointments can be made through staff at the school or by calling the Merbein Family Practice on 03 5025 2511 or students can simply drop into the rooms at recess or lunch on Tuesdays. This is a great service, not just when students are sick but for things like prescriptions, asthma and anaphylaxis plans, catch-up immunisations, mental health and any other issues facing secondary students.  Students will need to give their Medicare Card details to the GP clinic.  An easy way to do this is for the student to take a photo of the card on their phone.  Parents do not need to attend appointments with students but are very welcome to come along if the students wish.
