CELEBRATING ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE@CSPS

House Challenge Friday

Last Friday all students received a Seesaw post with a range of activities to complete as a family.  Moving forward during Remote Learning, the focus on wellbeing will continue on Fridays.

These activities have been designed with a health and wellbeing focus. They may get you moving, being mindful and most of all, should be fun! Each activity can earn house points.

As well as a class meeting for each class, each sub school will have 2 live meets that are optional to attend. These meets will have a focus such as guided drawing or games. As a family you may choose to attend the Middle school activity and this can count as points for everyone.

We ask that you include photos of the activities you complete as a response to the Seesaw post.  The activity will expire at 2.30 pm to allow staff time to respond.

Last week there were over 200 responses to the day and proved to be an engaging day. What was your favorite activity?  I drew a monkey, made a fort, went for a walk and read a book.  It was a great day to reset a bit!

Congratulations to Baany who collected the most points on the day!  I look forward to seeing the fun things you do next week.

HAVE FUN!  Mrs Halket

Learning Tasks on Compass

Term 3 Learning Tasks are now available via COMPASS. Most students will have completed a Mathematics and Reading Learning task. These tasks will provide information about your child's achievement and provide goals to work on.  Check out your child's work through Compass.

To view your child’s tasks, click the ‘Profile’ option for that child on your dashboard. This will take you to their profile page.

Click to their ‘Learning Tasks’ tab. Here you will see their tasks listed. If you have more than one student at the school and wish to view all their Learning Tasks collectively, you can click the pencil icon and select ‘Learning Tasks’.

Click the title of a task to view the details and any results/feedback provided by the teacher. These may include achievement and learning goals or a RUBRIC of 'I can' statements and a learning goal. These instructions have also been made available through Compass.

In response to feedback from the community, in particular the students, staff have been conducting a variety of different type learning sessions for students. This ranges from Seesaw posts, paper work and live sessions. The response to remote and flexible learning has been great and the work the students are submitting is fantastic. If you have any questions about your child's work please contact your classroom teacher via email or Seesaw.
