Thank you to all students who have contributed to our Music Ensembles this term – it is great to be back making music together! 

Looking ahead, orchestra and choir members will be involved in the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Wentworth Falls Cenotaph. BMGS has a long tradition of contributing to this important community event and after several years of cancellation due to COVID, we are excited to be back representing our School this year. Mrs Cooney is coordinating this event and can be contacted on jcooney@bmgs.nsw.edu.au 

Co-curricular ensembles are working towards a performance at the beginning of Term 2 at the combined Drama/Music performance evenings ‘Illuminate’. More details to come. 

All ensembles are still keen to accept new members – choristers, string players, band and orchestra players, handbell ringers, guitarists and pianists. Come and see us at the Music Office, or speak to Mrs Smith and Mrs Cooney about which ensemble is right for you. You will be most welcome!

Winter Ball: Saturday, 11th June

Soirée Winterreise: Thursday 23rd June, 7:00pm, Recital Room, PAC

Vita Musicale (Whole School Concert): Friday, 19th August
