Food Technology Report 

 

With a return to onsite learning, students have enjoyed the ability to do some hands on food preparation in the kitchen.

 

The Year 8 Food Technology students have been busy over the last fortnight baking bread for their Bread Challenge Design Task.

 

The Multicultural Foods class produce their Gourmet Traveller dishes this week. Each student researched the cuisine of a particular country and then produced one recipe. Dishes from every continent were made including; sushi and ramen from Japan, an Indian style curry, Cantonese styled fried rice, a Saudi Arabian chicken and rice dish, burritos from Mexico, Palmier pastries from France, pasta carbonara and chicken Parmigiana from Italy, pretzels from Germany and a South African milk tart.
