Year 10 News
Celebration Day and Awards
To celebrate the end of the year, the Year 10 team took the cohort to Inverloch on Thursday 25th November.
This trip allowed students to celebrate in an informal and relaxed manner, the end of their journey at the junior campus!
I have to say, this celebration day to Inverloch was one of the most enjoyable and relaxed occasions that I have experienced while at Kurnai – and the students told me so too!
Given so many opportunities to gather and relax together as a crew were cancelled this year, including the Year 10 camp, this trip gave both students and staff the chance to hang out, explore, eat ice cream and just enjoy each other’s company and banter.
There are so many amazing and inspiring young people in this cohort, and it was an honour to present both the campus and college awards to so many deserving recipients. Congratulations to all our award winners!

Farewell from me too!
My time at the junior campus, and Kurnai College, has also come to an end and I just want to thank the staff, parents and students for their collaboration and support over the past four years! I am grateful for the opportunity that Kurnai has provided to me which has allowed me to explore my leadership skills at the Churchill Campus, and in turn has allowed me to step forward and explore new opportunities and landscapes in Apollo Bay.
