Year 8 News

The end of Year 8 is fast approaching. The Year 8 students have completed selecting their Year 9 electives. The Gumbuya World excursion, which will take place on Friday the 3rd of December is a fantastic opportunity for all the students to celebrate making it through another challenging year.

Skills Week will take place in Week 10, starting Monday the 6th of December. It is during this week that the students will focus on improving skills within each subject area. These skills have been identified by teachers after evaluation of the Common Assessment Tasks that the students have recently completed.

Congratulations to Year 8 2021

The Year 8 staff – Lindy Gumpold, Kara Thompson, Gabi O’Bree, Julia Groves, Lisa Knowles, Lori Rong and Robin Fitzpatrick would like to congratulate the Year 8 cohort for such an amazing effort in 2021. The year was such a challenging year with floods, earthquakes and COVID19, yet the Year 8s showed their resilience and determination to make the best of the year. All the best in Year 9 in 2022
