Hello everyone

There have been some changes to COVID restrictions since my last update.  Masks are no longer compulsory in secondary schools.  Some students have chosen to continue wearing their masks which is perfectly fine.  Visitors to the school are also required to wear their masks and to show evidence of their vaccination status.

Skills Week

Our Headstart program in Week 10, from December 6th, focuses on teaching some of the subject specific skills necessary for students to be successful.

During this week we will also conduct our Numeracy and Reading tests to gather data on students’ levels which will inform future programs and targeted teaching.

Farewell

Some staff will be taking up other opportunities in 2022. We wish the following people all the best:

Lindy Gumpold – will be joining our University Campus

Jenny Horner- will be exploring other areas of Victoria as she takes on a sea change in Apollo Bay.

Mary Corponi – will welcome a new addition to her family in 2022 and is taking family leave.

Celeste Sanderco –she too will be on family leave as her family welcomes baby number two

Lori Rong -moving closer to home

Louise Kramme- moving closer to home

Mr Whippy will be visiting the Campus on December 10th so students and staff can enjoy an ice-cream on the last day of the Academic year.  Unfortunately, Mr Whippy does not have dairy free ice-cream.

As 2021 ends, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for the support and contribution you have made to our Learning Community.  May you all get that well deserved break and enjoy time with family and friends during the holiday season.
