Year 7 – 9 Celebratory Day Tuesday 23rd November  

 

2021 has certainly been another testing year. We are so proud of how well our students have managed to adapt to the everchanging and challenging situation. With this in mind, the Year 7 – 9 student leaders have come together to organise a celebratory day to recognize our students’ amazing resilience and allow us to enjoy being back together.  Details 

When: Tuesday 23rd November. 

Time: Period 3 (Aspire) and Lunchtime. NOTE all other timetabled classes will run as normal. 

Dress: Casual dress with a $2 gold coin donation. All donations will go to a local charity. 

What:  

  • Time in your Aspire group to debrief on the year that was and celebrate as a group.  
  • Picnic on the oval – note due to COVID restrictions, food may not be shared. 
  • Music and fun activities.  

What to bring: 

  • A picnic rug 
  • Individual lunch 
  • Hat and sunscreen  

All activities will run strictly in accordance with our College’s COVID safe plan.

TLC Poetry Competition Winners

Year 7 students were recently invited to submit poems in this year’s TLC Poetry Competition. Students wrote on a range of topics including climate change, identity, friendship and the impacts of COVID-19 on young people. We are delighted to announce this year’s winners:

  • Third Place – Lily Gacovski and Nikita Mathur

VCAL Cancer Australia fundraiser:
