Term 2 Week 3 PBIS Report

Arlen and Ruby presented the PBIS report for Week 3 at Assembly.

Last week our PBIS Blitz was ‘Bounce Back - Being Resilient’  We hope you have all had a chance to listen to Mrs Brown narrate the ‘Resilience’ book.  Being resilient is:

  • Bouncing back from difficult situations
  • Riding the wave of your feelings
  • Finding the strength to stand up for yourself
  • Knowing how you feel and what to do with that feeling
  • Knowing who to turn to when things feel to big to handle

Sometimes you can learn resilience from others and it is something that you can grow with time and patience.

Resilience helps your heart grow so you can look after the world, yourself and each other.

Our new blitz for Week 3 and 4 will be “Respecting Personal Space’

Respecting Personal space is also keeping your hands to yourself.

Term 2 Week 4 PBIS Report

Our current blitz is “Respecting Personal Space’

Last week we saw how you can respect others personal space by waiting behind people at the drink taps, not sitting right next to someone in class, and generally keeping a safe distance. Respecting personal space is also important out in the school yard when you are playing games.

Teachers have noticed that some students are pushing others and play fighting - THIS is NOT respecting personal space.

Congratulations to those students who have earnt PBIS reward tickets for being superstars.  The scores for our House Team competition are as follows:

Marian on 19

McAuley on 20

Ryan on 24

Archer on 26
