Director of Teaching and Learning 

Term one is over, and students have handled the transition back to full face-to-face teaching well (with the exception of three days of lockdown!). The first term is always a little hectic with athletics, swimming sports, and other distractions, and this year in particular has been a short term due to an early Easter. We wish all of our students and staff a restful break and hope that they return refreshed in Term 2.

New Metrics

Monivae College has joined a research partnership with The University of Melbourne. The New Metrics for Success project intends to understand what our students need now and into the future. Alongside 30 other schools nationwide, we are exploring pathways into employment and tertiary study beyond the ATAR. The work with The University of Melbourne will inform our subject offerings in future years. More information will be published soon via the Monivae website and social media.

Subjects for 2022

We are currently in the process of reviewing our subject offerings for 2022 and beyond. This will include a new middle school curriculum, increased options for accelerated studies, and broader VET and tertiary pathways for all of our students. More information will be made available in Terms 2 and 3.
