Hola Newlands Primary School community! I am so excited to be writing my first newsletter and am so enjoying getting to know all of your wonderful children. The last 2 weeks have been a blast and I cannot wait to continue my journey as PE coordinator here at your most amazing school!

 

Wow! What an amazing week of sport we had at NPS our first week back. We hit the ground running with the school’s first ever Cross-Country Carnival. The students showed grit and determination on the track. They were good sports demonstrating care and kindness towards those that they ran with. We are incredibly proud of all students and what they achieved on the day, however particular mention must be made to those students that came in first, second, third and fourth on the day. Those students were:

SSV Coburg District Cross Country Championships 2021

 

The Annual SSV Coburg District Cross Country Championships is to be held at Jackson Reserve, Coburg (Coburg Athletics Track) on Wednesday 19 May 2021, commencing at 9.45 a.m. and concluding by 12.15pm.  Each event commences at the track, continues into nearby parkland and concludes back at the track. Representing Newlands Primary School will be the students in grades 4,5 and 6 who at our Cross-Country Carnival placed first, second, third and fourth (listed above).   Massive shout-outs to those students!  What an amazing effort!  You should all be incredibly proud.
