VCE Theatre Studies

As we move toward the end of Term 3, the VCE Theatre Studies students are working hard on preparing their Stagecraft exam (a solo monologue interpretation).

Students are spending considerable time in and outside of school rehearsing, preparing, drafting, researching and presenting to one another.

We will be ready to present our work on Tuesday 13 September at 6 pm in P1.

The ATOM Photo Competition 2016

The theme for the ATOM Photo Competition 2016 is ‘A Sense of Place’.

Photography allows us to create our own unique interpretations of the world around us. The same place can have a different ‘feel’ in different situations. As a medium, photography offers many ways to explore a variety of perspectives on a location.

Be creative with your photography. You can choose a place that has special significance to you, a place that is mysterious or fun, a landscape or a building or anything else you can imagine. Your photographs can be colour or black-and-white, realistic or experimental; they can include people or animals, and be the busiest or quietest place you can find.

Take three original photographs that offer an interpretation of that place. Submit your photos and short written statement online.

Remember, this is an opportunity to express yourself through your photography; each photograph is a reflection of you.

Visit atomphotocomp.org for more information.

Entries CLOSE Monday 19 September.

There is a $500 cash prize for the winner of in each age-group category.
