2021 has been another wonderful year of school! We are very proud of our students for their efforts, achievements and caring, respectful attitudes.
A huge thank you to Team Tally staff, whose dedication, enthusiasm, expertise and care for every single student makes school wonderful at Tallebudgera State School!
To parents, carers and our community, thank you so very much for your support and being such wonderful role models for our students. Your easy friendliness, kind words and partnership mean the world to us and are a very special part of our school culture. In particular, thank you to our P&C and School Council for their significant contribution to our school this year.
Year 6 Graduates
Tomorrow, we farewell our 2021 Year 6 graduates, knowing that they are well prepared for their next educational chapter. Congratulations to the graduating class of 2021 and their families!
We have celebrated our Year 6’s achievements through a graduation ceremony with parents and carers, a special gala dinner for students and our traditional tunnel of love.

We will miss our graduates very much and wish them all the very best for high school.
Wonderful Events
It’s been an action-packed and joy-filled end of term with a range of events across our school including:
- Prep – Year 2 swimming lessons
- Year 3 – Year 3 swimming carnival
- Final P&C meeting of the year with a party
- Academic awards ceremony for Years 3 to Year 5 (Year 6 awards were given at graduation)
- House rewards day – Congratulations to Andrews who received the most Tiger Paws (positive behaviour recognition tickets) and won the house rewards event this term!
- Connect and reflect, an opportunity for students to spend some time in their 2022 class
- Tally Way Day – Our signature event that provides an opportunity for children to show the Tally Way during fun activities, such as discos and a free pizza party (thanks to our wonderful P&C and prosperity partners). Thank you to our fabulous volunteers who distributed pizza to our grateful and excited students!
First Day Back
School resumes on Monday, 24 January 2022 and we are very excited about our plans to welcome everyone back in true Tally style… The first day back is always a celebration for us and there will be a visit by Tally Tiger, frames for photo opportunities, music and more.
Parents and carers, we have something planned for you for the first day of school and will let you know about it by email before the first day of school if the COVID requirements at that time allow us to proceed. Our P&C have a lovely surprise planned for you, so we are keeping our fingers crossed!
